1920's rare, gold-filled locket and chain that features a raised, detailed Gibson Girl image. The Gibson Girl dominated advertising as the personification of female beauty from the 1890's-1920's, and was originally drawn by the artist, Charles Dana Gibson. Please note that the locket is engraved on the back with the original owner's initials in an Art Nouveau-style calligraphy. Spring ring clasp.
